Welcome to Valley of the Hounds

We offer full service care for pets!

Overnight boarding, short and extended stays. Dog daycare and grooming.

Hours

Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

(Quiet hours are 11:00 am to 3:00 pm: During these hours we will be playing with dogs, giving baths, or picking up supplies. You can still pick up or drop off your pet during these hours (at no additional charge), please call in advance so we can ensure your prompt service.

Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Holidays we are CLOSED: New Year's Day, President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day.

(No drop-offs or pick-ups on holidays, your pets are still being cared for!)

Valley of the Hounds is a small, American-family owned and operated business. We are happy to provide a more personal environment for your pet. We have a beautiful 2 acre facility conveniently located in Canton, Michigan.

We believe that all animals deserve a safe, sanitary, and fun-loving environment.

We strive for happy, repeat customers, who will tell all their friends and family about us (Don't forget! $5.00 off for each new referral.)

We have over 30 years of professional experience with dogs, cats, horses, birds, small mammals, and reptiles.

We have over 25 years experience of military and federal service in canine training for obedience, patrol work, narcotic detection, and human detection.

We are only 15 minutes from Detroit Metro Airport, right off of I-275!

(20 minutes east of Ann Arbor and 20 minutes west of Detroit)
