Best Damn Kennel arround! I would highly recommend Valley of the hounds. My Babies LOVE it there. I am new to the whole dog sitting world but, i did my research, LOTS of it.
K.c did my "tour" and Dion was there the next day to show me to the room they would be staying in....This place has the best employees, happiest dogs, and not to mention 1/2 the price of other facilities. How can you beat that?
I have never had any issues here, and i continue to recommend them to everyone i know with pets. Yes.. pets not just dogs! They board just about any pet. lol... ( one time i came to pick up my Pup's and The husband had a bearded dragon climbing on his shoulder- !!! )) It too was being boarded there!!
You'd be insane not bring all your pets here when your going outa town! ;-P

This place is great! I was nervous at first since I've never left my dog anywhere since I've had her. The owners and staff are very nice and accomodating. She likes the staff and enjoyed the big area to run in. She was clean and well cared for when I picked her up. I'm so pleased with the care she received that I have already booked two more stays and have recommended Vally of the Hounds to many of my neighbors and friends.

Valley of the Hounds is a charming family run business that really cares about the well-being of the animals they care for, and are taking steps to go green too! The daycare is especially good for the young and old dogs. Our dog has always been happy with their care. I highly recommend them.

Valley of the Hounds is the BEST place to take your dog. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly and considerate of the dogs and owners. My dog is treated like part of the family and enjoys her time there.
The business is flexible with the needs of the dog owner and I have never had a problem getting my dog in on short notice.
When a friend of ours was hospitalized we had to take her dogs for a while, Valley of the Hounds took our dog as usual for day care plus her two no questions asked. They all had a great time and were very well taken care of.
If you love your pets and want them to have the best care while you are away take them to Valley of the Hounds! :)

I love this place! They take King on a moment's notice and are great to him. I will bring him back.

Valley of the hounds is a wonderful place to take your pets!! The owners and employees handle everything with the care and attention it needs. I have 3 large dogs and a cat. Sometimes large dogs can be harder to handle and care for, but the new employee that is there was very helpful and cared for my dogs like they were hers, she also had lots of patience with them, and helped tune-up there obedience skills. My cat, who is in his eldest years was very happy there, unlike some other places we have been. He did not have to stay in a small cage, he had room to play with others and was in the house, safe and warm. I think my animals were upset to see me come and take them away for their home away from home.

I have two dogs. One is very old and needs extra gentle care. I was always worried about her at the other places, but not at Valley of the Hounds! These people were so gentle and spoke so sweetly to Grace that she really perked up and took to them. I actually felt free to take my weekend getaway! I will always use this place in the future, my dogs won't let me go anywhere else! When I picked up Grace and George, Grace was smiling and had a very happy look on her face. They had brushed her and really given her their time. George loves everybody so he had a great time too, he made lots of new friends.

I've been coming to this place since they opened. I've always had a good experience. I've even recommended many of my friends to bring their animals. My friend's have only brought they're dogs a couple times (they don't get out of town much ; ) ) but they have nothing but good things to say about them. Keep up the good work!

I have always brought my dog Mimi and my two cats here. They devote so much attention and care, I will never take my babies anywhere else! My kitties are kept in a spare room instead of a cage and are not stressed out when I pick them up. Valley of the Hounds is the best place to take your pets if you want them smiling, happy and not stressed when you pick them up.

I have kept my dog with this family since they started! My dog has always been happy and well cared for. She is always very happy when she senses that we are heading there, tail wagging and smiling! Valley of the Hounds has given my dog personal care, way beyond the other places that I've taken my dog. I will always bring my dogs there!

We have taken our Pom/Pap to Valley o/t Hounds two times now. She absolutely loves it there and we love the fact that we don't have to worry about her while we are gone. Our dog gets adopted right into the family atmosphere from the moment she arrives. We highly recommend their services.
I don't get to the East side of MI much, but I needed to recently. I found Valley of the Hounds so I could board my Rott for one night. I dropped her off and she took to the owner right away. He took us through the grounds and introduced her to his male Rott, Rambo, with whom Grace would play later. The grounds were clean and fenced neatly with a lot of room for the dogs to run and play. The inside runs were neat and clean also.
I called to pick up my dog the next day and she was happy as could be. I haven't been so at ease about leaving my dog overnight with any other kennel. I saw the sparkle in her eye when I dropped her off and picked her up, so I know she had a blast and was well cared for. She hasn't sneezed or coughed or shown any signs of having caught kennel cough or any stomach flu.
When I get to Canton again, I would definitely take Grace there again.
