Payment Terms and Conditions

  • There will be a charge for check-out day, regardless of check-out
    time.
  • We accept cash and checks (with two forms of ID).  
  • We accept credit cards
  • We accept PayPal -- You may use the payment button on this page.
  • Payment is due at time of check-out, and required to check your pet
    out.

Register

  • Please call during business hours to register your pets, or use the
    PayPal button to reserve with deposit.
  • Register early to ensure a space will be available.
  • Reservations are first come, first served basis.  
  • If we are fully booked we can put you on a wait list.  We will refer to
    the wait list immediately if someone cancels.  It is worth your time to
    be put on the wait list, spaces can come and go quickly.
  • If you reserve a space during holiday seasons, which includes all
    holidays, full pre-payment is required.
  • When checking in you must present verification of current Rabies,
    Bordatella, Parvo/Distemper vaccination (DHLPP for dogs and FVRC-
    P for cats.)

Check-in

  • All pets must be on leash or in a carrier.  Must be wearing a well-
    fitting nylon or leather collar (no spikes please!)
  • If bringing food from home, it must be in a Ziploc type bag or other
    air-tight container.  One bag per feeding.
  • Bring at least two extra feeding in case you are delayed.
  • Bring at least two extra doses of medication.
  • Do not feed your pet at least two hours prior to coming to Valley of
    the Hounds, or returning home.  No one likes to clean up after an
    upset tummy.  It can be exciting coming to a new place or being
    reunited with family (unless your pet is accustomed to boarding).
  • Make sure your pet is free from internal or external parasites, i.e.
    worms, fleas, ticks.  There will be a charge if your pet must be
    treated.
  • You will need to leave at least two contact telephone numbers in
    case of emergency.  Please bring this information with you at check-
    in.
  • Personal belongings may be brought, but we are not responsible for
    their return.  We will try our best to ensure they are not lost or
    damaged.

Check-out

  • We do not feed on day of check out to avoid an upset tummy.  
    Please let us know if you will be later so we can provide your pet with
    a small meal.
  • Payment is due at time of check out.  We cannot release your pet
    without payment.  We accept cash, checks, and credit cards.
You may make boarding
deposits through PayPal.  

Please include your pet's
name and the boarding
dates in the notes. A $26
charge for 1st and last
night will reserve a spot for
your pet!
