     Valley of the Hounds is a small, family-run business, and we are happy to provide a more personal environment for your pet.
     We believe that all animals deserve a safe, sanitary, and fun-loving environment. 
     We strive for happy, repeat customers, who will tell all their friends and family about us. 
     We continually upgrade our facilities, with your pet's comfort and happiness in mind. 
     The staff at Valley of the Hounds work as a team.  We treat each other with dignity, respect and joy. 
      We have over 30 years of professional experience with dogs, cats, horses, birds, small mammals, and reptiles.  
     We have over 25 years experience of military and federal service in canine training for obedience, patrol work, narcotic detection, and human detection. 

     We offer a wide range of services such as; pet boarding, dog day-care, training, extended day care (for those folks working loooong hours), grooming and many other services. 
 
     We are only 15 minutes from Detroit Metro Airport, right off of I-275!

I will never take my dog anywhere else. They treat my dog like an old friend and are always delighted to see him every time I bring him here.  I highly recommend Valley of the Hounds!

This place offers convenient care for pets while you're away. The people who run it are kind, and it's evident that they genuinely enjoy being with animals. When I leave town, I can leave knowing my two shih-tzus are in good hands. I highly recommend this place .-S.S. of Canton

OMG! I was so scared to board my dog anywhere. They were soooooo gentle and sweet to my dog Cookie.She was so happy and relaxed when I picked her up. She was playing with the other dogs and I was so relieved. This will always be the place for me and Cookie!

Tours are available by appointment only. 
To schedule a tour, please call (734-)721-1483.
if you have any questions please call us during regular operating hours.  7am - 7pm on weekdays and 10am - 6pm on weekends.

 

     Please respect that this is our residence. 

     Your pets are still being cared for after hours and on the few holidays that we are closed.

     After hours drop-off or pick-up MUST be pre-arranged. 

Special services fee of $25 will apply.
