Hours and Holidays

Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 11:00 am

3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

(QUIET HOURS 11:00am to 3:00pm)

(During these hours we will be playing with dogs, giving baths, or picking up supplies. You can still pick up or drop off your pet during these hours (at no additional charge), if you call in advance.

Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Holidays we are CLOSED: New Year's Day, President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day. (No drop-offs or pick-ups on holidays)

(Pets are being cared for during holidays,

we are closed only for drop off and pick up.)

We have over 30 years of professional experience with dogs, cats, horses, birds, small mammals, and reptiles.

We have over 25 years experience of military and federal service in canine training for obedience, patrol work, narcotic detection, and human detection.

We offer a wide range of services such as;

We are only 15 minutes from Detroit Metro Airport, right off of I-275!

I will never take my dog anywhere else. They treat my dog like an old friend and are always delighted to see him every time I bring him here. I highly recommend Valley of the Hounds!

This place offers convenient care for pets while you're away. The people who run it are kind, and it's evident that they genuinely enjoy being with animals. When I leave town, I can leave knowing my two shih-tzus are in good hands. I highly recommend this place .-S.S. of Canton

OMG! I was so scared to board my dog anywhere. They were soooooo gentle and sweet to my dog Cookie.She was so happy and relaxed when I picked her up. She was playing with the other dogs and I was so relieved. This will always be the place for me and Cookie!
